i am looking to make a tarp, but have never used one and am looking for some advice. i live in NM where it can get really windy in the spring, so that's a consideration. i like the idea of multiple pitching options (i.e. kelty noah's tarp), but being a novice tarp user am wondering if i should stick with something more like a tarptent or six moon night wing. i was thinking of adding extra tieouts to the something like a night wing to acheive that versitility, but maybe that is a bad idea. anyhoo, i think you can understand my question. any advice would be much appreciated.
