A friend and I have decided to take a backpacking trip over Memorial Day weekend. We live outside of Denver and have done RMNP several times and are looking to do something new. We’re willing to travel up to 500 miles, and while not a deal breaker, we’d prefer to not deal with a bunch of snow.
Neither of us has been to any other national parks besides Rocky Mountain, so anything else would be brand new. Just soliciting suggests on what park might be best for our length of stay (3-4 nights) and time of the year.
