I found that my TiGoat AGP's were great for setting up my MLD Grace Solo tarp, but in inclement weather I needed to set it up lower than the 30" that the rear pole would normally go. After trying quite a few things, I found that taking the lower pole section out and using the thread that is in the expander (without taking the expander off), I could screw it into a yellow electrical wire connector as a base. That gives me a rear pole of 27.25" which is perfect for a lower, bad weather, setup.
