Hmmm…Seems like one person is getting really lucky on eBay and one person is getting the screwed. I can't believe it's selling for that much more than retail..Holy cow!
A sellers dream: $150 over cost
Maybe he's paying in Turkish Lira, from a Nigerian bank account, makes up his own cashiers checks, or has a hacked Paypal account. Or could be a transshipper for an embargoed country. Lots of reasons I can see this happening.
Ebay is great, but can be scary.
Never discount stupidity or ignorance.
Maybe… I just clicked over out of morbid curiosity, and it stated that the seller ended the auction early because of an error in the listing. So looks like a 'no sale'.
