R2 packs Alternative?

I was all ready to order a pack from R2 and to my surprise No more!!! I would like any and ALL advice on where to go (i really liked the pack featured here on BPL except panel loading) Any suggestions?

I'm in the same boat…I was just inquiring about material options when they closed up. Other options I have looked at are less convincing that I will get what I want. With R2, you literally get what you ask for.

If anyone has similar options, let me know!

McHale packs allows you to select fabric (somewhat limited), which McHale options to include, type of pack model…! You may not have the same amount of design input as with R2 but you will be pleased. I own a couple McHale packs and I'm very pleased. One must work through the fitting and demo process with Dan but it goes fast if the buyer commits to the process. McHale packs are not the lightest nor are they cheapest but you will end up with a great piece of gear. I would suggest a person start by looking into Dan's LBP pack line.

I really do want a more CUSTOM pack more then mchale can offer me they seem to have set packs that they add on to (color mainly) while im sure there wonderful packs i just dont think it really fits my needs! ANY more suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also If forced to mchale i really like the Sub pop anyone have any experience with it? thanks
