I did a forum search and checked out the internet but I am still a bit confused. I just bought a Big Agnes Farwell 0 Degree Bag, and the stuff sack that came with it does not comress the bag anywhere near where I am happy with. What is a good stuff sack that compresses a bag a good amount? Any help is much appreciated.
Are you interested in compressing because you have a really small pack and think you need the space or just because it’s the good ol’ fashioned way?
There were two threads devoted to the stuff sack issue and the consensus seemed to be not stuffing the sleeping bag saved space. Certainly, putting the bag in a trash bag or the like to protect it is fine. I usually just stuff my bag in the bottom, but you can put a trash bag around it if you want extra protection from water and dirt. I have a trash bag that lines the inside of my pack everytime I go out though so I don’t worry.

To answer your question though, any stuff sack is a good stuff sack as long as it is not too small. Sea2Summit, GraniteGear, BPL brand stuff sacks etc…
You can also get compression sacks which will really cinch down your bag. Take it to REI and try some of the compression sacks there to make your sleeping bag a ball that is about the size of a football.
Oh nice, thanks so much for your help. I was thinking of compressing the bag to save space. I never thought of just putting the bag in my pack, I'm going to try that out.
