I'm overdue to replace my New Balance 809 shoes. I would like to go back to the Adidas brand, since I had a pair that I used to love. I don't even know what model they were, but they were the priciest ones at the store at the time. I had a different pair of feet then though, so it may not be a fair comparison. Does anyone use Adidas shoes on the trails? What models?

I just bought a pair of Adidas Redwood Trails. They’re my first pair of trail runners, so I don’t have a lot of experience with them yet… The soles are very grippy, and they don’t have a lot of padding inside to soak up water. The heel area and tongue have the only padding, and the rest is mesh. A women’s 8.5 weighs 10.44 oz per shoe.

Here is a link to them: Shoes.com
