There's been an ongoing buzz about a Lost Coast trip, sometime in April.
Josh and I are totally on board and planning for it. Very exciting. Josh is about to have another addition to his family, due in May. For him, the last weekend for a trip is April 12. He's taken the 11th and 14th off of work. That works perfectly for me too.
So…
Come one, Come all.

4/11 – 4/14 (or any portion there of)Mar 19, 2008 at 6:23 pm #1424952Sounds good. Hope to meet some new people.
JoshMar 19, 2008 at 6:51 pm #1424955What’s this?
Just jump ahead of the coordinator of this trip and throw a date out there?I guess since I’m the one who 6 months ago said that I was going to do this trip in April that I should have at least some say in this???
I actually took tons off time off in April and only have to work for 9 days of the month, and only one of the weekends.
But guess what?
The 11-13th is the weekend I have to work.Try again sonny!!!
p.s.
By the way, I do know Michael enough to joke around with him like this.Mar 19, 2008 at 7:04 pm #1424957Here, I'll translate your post with obligatory emoticons:

…..Shoot, sorry Aaron but I'd talked to Josh on the phone and because of his schedule limitations I had to dive in and cement a date. The Lost Coast will have to make room for two trips!
I'm gonna keep this thread alive, at the least I'll be going with Josh.
What dates we're you targeting?
Mar 19, 2008 at 7:15 pm #1424960Any other weekend other than the one you have in mind.
Mar 20, 2008 at 8:59 pm #1425057Just thought since you were going to Whitney that you would still be suffering from expoesure to go to Lost Coast. Michael can't go the weekend before and I can't go the weekend after. Just kidding buddy.
JoshMar 21, 2008 at 10:53 pm #1425174Can't we just all get along?!?
First of all, congrats to Josh for his another addition to the family!
Second of all, there's some experienced female population that wants to go to lost coast too (experienced meaning having experience in multiple BP overnights, and not what you think it means).
And I'm always for a diversified trip, makes you learn, and makes it fun.
Let's make it happen!Mar 22, 2008 at 5:04 pm #1425255.
Mar 25, 2008 at 8:58 pm #1425627So Mike can't go but I'm still up for it. The dates will still be the same. Planning to start at North end and do a Yo-Yo north to south to north or as far as we get. The coast trail sounds good to me. This is up for discussion. Hope to see some folks up there.
JoshMar 26, 2008 at 9:18 pm #1425764So my info was off. I am now thinking of starting at Shelter cove heading south and going to the south end then back to shelter cove. My previous post would have been about 100 miles in four days. This way will be about 60 in four days.If we don't get all the way south then who cares. This is also up for debate depending on who wants to go and if we want to do a one way with a car shuttle. Hope some of you will want to go.
