I have always used my R2 fleece when climbing in cold conditions. Combined with a windshell/softshell the breathability is superb. Would I get similar results with the Cocoon UL 60?

Anyone worn this while moving in temps from 20 degrees on down?

I think sheer durability of the pertex quantum material would rule the cocoon out for climbing. I don't think quantum would handle high abrasion very well. I have the hooded version and is extremely warm, so much so that it may be a bit to much for use while moving. It may handle climbing better than hiking as climbing isn't as aerobic, but I would imagine you would work up a sweat rather quickly wearing this thing. It would make quite an ideal belay jacket though, especially the hooded version.
