The problem, my wife won’t use a tarp and bivy combo. She likes tents and we own a Go Lite Trig 2. She likes it but feels more comfortable in a tent. I came across the Big Sky International tents and I am curious. Their UL version with carbon fiber poles weighs in at 39 oz. which is 8 oz. lighter than my Trig 2, plus it is free standing. Sounds great. Has anyone seen one or tried one out yet. Thanks.
Sep 10, 2005 at 4:53 pm #1341463Have you seen the review of their Evolution 2P by Ryan Jordan and Will Rietveld here on BPL?
Sep 11, 2005 at 8:47 am #1341491No I missed that. I saw that they were nominated for a litetude award though. I will check out the review. Thanks for the heads up!!

You may also want to check BackpackGearTest.org… they are currently testing the Evolution 2P:

Sep 14, 2005 at 8:57 am #1341637Are there, or going to be, any reviews of the Revolution tents? I’m rather curious about those.
Sep 23, 2005 at 7:17 pm #1341922Once again the folks at BPL must be reading their reader’s minds. You asked for it and a week later they provide it… a Revolution 2P UL review:

If you have any questions, we would be happy to answer them.
