Nunatak Arc Edge… personal experiences?

That's why I ordered the Arc Specialist. 55" girth allows for me to flop around and stay covered. My first night in a tent is always restless. There is some weight gain between the designs, depends on what you are looking for.

Tom could widen the bag for you without much additional cost, maybe the increased amount in down used.

I am thinking about these dimensions:

Foot: 34" (same as Ghost, 4" less than the Specialist)
Hip: 43" (same as Ghost, only 2" less than the Specialist)
Shoulder: 52" (3" less than the Specialist)
Straps: 2

The Specialist looks like it is 2" less than the Golite Ultra in girth along the whole bag. I have the Ultra and it is ultra roomy for me. The Golite has a loft of 2.5", and I would like this bag to have half the loft at 1.25".

How much down would you guess for that? The Edge at 0.75" has 6oz, and the Specialist at 1.75" has 9oz. (I also want effective down control – everyone seems to say add overfill to Nunatak stock bags for this).

I don't have the Arc Edge, but I do own the Arc AT. When I bought my AT, Tom gave me the dimensions and I made a quick cutout with cheap material to get an idea of the size – you should try the same. Don't expect a luxurious bag, they were designed to cut ALL weight to the minimum…but I think you'll get used to it! :)
