I was wondering if anyone could steer me towards a shower attachment option. I use 1L plastic bottles and a Platypus Big Zip II 3L. It is just that most of the rivers around here are not big enough and the lakes would make you more dirty by going into them.

Funny how their site doesn't show it. Maybe they don't make it anymore.

All you need is…
1. Collapsible water container- you platypus big zip is fine
2. Drink tube kit- with hyperflow bite valve

The big zip comes with holes to add string. Other platypus containers will need two holes punched to add the string. Fill with water, hang upside down, and the hyperflow bite valve gives great water pressure to shower and wash your hair. My home shower plumbing had a problem and I took complete showers out of a 3 liter big zip for several days.

How does the hyperflow bite valve work as a shower head? Dont you need to pich or bite the valve for any water to come out?

Pinch the valve for water flow, yes. There is good pressure for cleaning. I hold the valve in one hand and use it that way. You only use the water needed that way.
