I'm looking into buying a new MLD Grace Duo Spinntex .97 tarp. I have seen the few reviews posted on site but would appreciate additional comments regarding performance and durability as compared to silnylon. I currently use a MSR Trekker Wing that is tough but weighs in at 1.75 pounds. I would like to cut the weight by half but retain as much toughness and durability as I can. Any suggestions/comments would be greatly valued.Thanks
I have the Grace Solo .97 Spinntex and having used it along the east coast of Denmark I was very happy with the tight pitch which stayed tight all night even with considerable moisture in the air and on the tarp. For me it is the tarp I prefer to use. The workmanship and the design will ensure that you will get a quality product.
