What is a good long sleeve shirt to use for hot and humid conditions to keep the bugs off but still is breathable? I just don't want to be using my longsleeve Patagonia Capilene 2 and think my windshirt might be too much. Thanks.

I like mens button up cotton long sleeved shirts, white ones, to keep me cool and bug free. Its one of the few times when cotton works better.
I’ve been using the Exofficio Airstrip shirt for about 4 years now and can’t imagine hiking without it. I wear them through out most of the year.
I have a railriders extreme adventure shirt, but almost never wear it. I prefer very thin cotton for hot temperatures. It just has a better feel than the synthetic. I don't mind if the shirt gets damp with sweat–it keeps me cool, and in the summer, the shirt dries plenty fast. Plus, the cotton provides create "shade" and is thin enough and breathable enough not to be too hot.
If the temperature is not going to be too hot, or fluctuate widely, I will go a thin Smartwool since I think the wool performs better over a range of temperatures.
