New Dri-Ducks: Delamination Problems

Sounds like a defect to me. I've had mine for almost five years now (trail use only). Even wearing with a 20-23 lbs. backpack, there's been no delamination anywhere. You should contact your seller and see if you can return or exchange. Can't hurt.

Thanks Ben, I did that already. However, these are the NEW version of the dri-ducks, it is a different fabric than the older ones like yours and my old yellow ones.

Yeah, maybe it's entirely different. But I purchased a second set from our beloved BPL less than a year ago — and they don't seem any different — at least in looks. Both of mine are khaki.

I agree that it sounds defective. I've bought a few of the khaki ones and had no problem.

The new green ones use a different process. I think they will be more vulnerable for abrasion damage but less so for blunt force. Just call the company up and let them know so they can get a new pair out to you. I have done it when one pair I bought had a hole in it which I guess happens now on the new manufacturing process.
