This is a good point. It would be nice to buy only a few too if it worked out in terms of cost instead of getting an absurd amt.

Side note: i really wish BPL would bring back free shipping on orders under an ounce. That always seemed like such a great and logical policy.

You can buy some pretty small dropper bottles for breath drops, eye drops, etc at just about any store. I reuse my 15 mL eye drop bottles for Dr. Bronners, DEET, and things like that. You can find even smaller bottles in the "stuff-and-things" at the check-out lines in places like Wal-Mart and Walgreens. You'd have to either use or dispose of the contents and then clean them first, but they could be purchases locally.

I bet the pharmacy counter at Walmart (etc) would sell you a handful. The opthalmic solution they sell you when the kids pick up pink-eye at school comes in dropper bottles that are just like the artificial tears that contact lens wearers use to rehydrate their eyes during the day.

I went through a phase about a year ago searching for mini bottles everywhere.

I found that the easiest to get were the food coloring bottles from your local grocery store (wash and clean them) and the mini breath drops from gas stations. I also scored a few from eye glass places – just ask for sample eye drops. they usually have 7-15ml bottles with samples in them.

Thanks guys for the suggestions, I will start looking.

While I am sitting at my computer I googled "free sample eye drops" and came across this website:
http://tryalaway.com/
They will mail you a sample bottle of Alaway eye drops.

I received my free sample of Alaway eye drops in the mail, they are a small sample size that contain 1ml of eye drops.
By my measurements they can be filled to a maximum of 4.5ml, and weigh 6 grams empty. Smaller than I expected, but would still work for some applications.
