Has anyone purchased a pair of the '08 Hardrocks?
If you have, how do they compare to the older versions? The Montrail website says that the redesign emphasis was placed on "breathability, comfort, and fit"–pretty vague.

I have a new pair of the 08 Hardrocks. I have not had the opportunity to get out in them yet but the overall quality seems equal or better than earlier Hardrocks. The trail will tell all but I'm pleased with what I've seen. Fit (size) was the same for me as in 07. One very noticable upgrade in my opionion is the lacing, older models had eight eyelets and the new model six. I always struggled with the busy lacing of the older Hardrocks. I hope this helps.
