Paty Micropuff Pullover vs. Cocoon 60 Hoody

I just received the Pro 60 Parka which should be similar to the Hoody. I tried it on and compared it to the micropuff and would say there is no significant difference in loft or thickness between the two. I have not tried both in the field to compare but based on feel I might give a very slight edge to the micropuff. The insulation in the micropuff just seems a bit more substantial. I have Large in both and the fit of the Cocoon Parka is a tiny bit roomier.

Sorry cannot help you with, Climashield green isulation in Micro Puff, I have the original Micro Puff.

However, I use the BPL Hoody, it is my go to top and I would never consider taking my Micro Puff again, I have used the hoody down to temperatures – 5C (low 20's F) in conjunction with the BPL 180 quilt at night and slept warm all night.

Just to clarify my above post. I have the older version of the micropuff with Polarguard insulation. I don't have any experience with the new Micropuff with Climashield Green. I did check it out in the Patagonia Store but it seems to be quite a bit heavier than the old version and the pullover version is not available on the website anymore.
