Hey this piece looks really cool. The only info I can find is on an adjacent item in their line, the Crag Jacket, which is a 100-weight version of the same stuff. Based on the 40-denier nylon face, built-in stretch, and Polkatex DWR, the Crag looks to be an ultralight summer soft shell of some kind, right? And at 12 oz my interest is definitely piqued. That competes with the full-zip Cloudveil Prospector jacket from a few years ago, and it would appear to be more comfortable and agile (based on 4-way stretch rather than 2-way) and warmer (from the lamination of 100-weight fleece on the inside–or that's what it says).

All this makes me very interested to know more about this hooded Nomad Parka that is presumably crafted of pretty much the same stuff. Hope it's not too much heavier. Could be a really great 3-season soft shell.

Anybody know anything else? There's no info posted on MB's website.

The english translation of their JP site shows the Nomad Parka at 570g, or 20.1 oz. Wish they'd make a 100-weight parka . . .
