Who has used this? I'd like to know people's comments about this, particularly how they like this at night when a pack is not on your back. Is the Packa comfortable as an evening or pre-hike-morning coat to keep you warm as well?
Thanks!

Most of the discussion about the Packa is on Whiteblaze.net. You can wear it around camp without a pack on, but you will have a big floppy packcover on your back. You have to be a little more cautious about sitting and standing, but I've found it not to be a problem. If I can answer any other questions, just let me know.

Hi Roleigh
Have a read of my article on Gear for 4 months walking in France and the article on the post-trip assessment of that gear. My wife and I took home-made equivalents of the Packa, with slight variations on the original design. We lived in them. They were great. And the silnylon showed little or no wear.
Cheers
