I'm looking for suggestions on a trail to hike starting around early June and ending mid July preferably in the Northwest, but closer to the Midwest would work too. I'd like to go close to SUL, so ideally the area would be fairly warm and dry. I was considering the Great Western Trail, but I don't know anything about it, and the website wasn't helpful at all.
Also, I've heard that there is a new(ish) trail in Southern Oregon (my home state) that runs from the coast to the Eastern border. It may not be very dry, but it should be beautiful. Has anyone heard of this one?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
