I've read a fair bit of reviews on the Black Diamond Fitzroy but I have yet to talk to anyone that has actually used one. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with it or any other bibler BD tents.
I'm hoping to use this as a true four season tent but there are mixed reviews on how breathable the fabric is.

I've got a Tempest which I believe is the same tent, but outsourced to Asia, not seam sealed and with attatched vestibules. It's an excellent tent. I fully trust it in bad weather and prefer it to Mtn Hardwear 4 season tents that I also have experience with. It is very space efficient (just enough space for two full length pads, no extra. Which works because of the steep walls. I've been impressed with it's weather worthiness: 4 feet of snow overnight, sustained 50mph winds were ok. Breathability is fine, frequently the fabric gets ice on the inside in winter, but that happens with all tents. Moisture builds up more on the poles, which can later drip if it gets warm. Moisture management is the name of the game in all winter camping and I'm not dissapointed.
Some gripes… The backdoor is a little small. The stake loops are nonadjustable. The doors aren't percisely sewn.
