I know BPL promotes Aloksak bags for odor proof food storage bags, but somebody told me that oven roasting bags, like

are odor proof for food storage. Anybody know anything about these?
I doubt any of them are odor PROOF…odor resistant maybe. Don't count on it.
i doubt they are odor proof- i used one to brine a turkey in, and the seam failed.
get the aloksak- they are amazing. to the point where i had our 3-days trash in it, folded over (not sealed), buried on the coffee table for about a month. came across it while cleaning- no smell at all, until i opened it! yuck!
the ones from http://www.watchfuleyedesigns.com work really well and I love that they are reuseable… I put mine through hell
