My wife and I went to his presentation at the Denver/Lakewood REI and had a great time. This is the second time we have seen one of his presentations. The first one was the C2C.
This presentation was top notch. His insite into the lands of the west is invaluable IMO. He had pictures and videos that weren't available anywhere, which put even more in depth perspective (and even more humanity!)into his hike. It's great seeing Andy talk about something he loves. The passion for the outdoors really comes through in his words and emotions.
After the presentation was another quick non profit organisation presentation and a Q&A. Even though most people asked about his gear, he related it to the necessity of going lighter in our normal lifestyles which I thought was very comendable.
Overall great presentation! I highly recommend going to any of the ones he has coming up in the future. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he makes his way out of Colorado and across the US, so be sure to check his website for future updates.
