Anyone order shelters from them in the last year? What's your experience been?
Background: Big Sky was taking a lot of heat in 2005/6 because they took orders (and money) and then took 12+ months to deliver many of the tents that were ordered. There was an interview with them (last year?) that explained they had serious production problems with a factory in china, but they now had it under control. There website seems to indicate that they have many of the shelters in stock.
In my opinion, a very poorly run business, still. I noticed some of his shelters we on display in a local AZ hiking store, and when I chatted with a man about it, they keep them in stock regularly. The same stuff that people that I know have been waiting for years it would now be to get their products from, but yet he still has time to keep retailers stocked? Don't get me wrong he's got some great stuff, but I'd never buy any of it, chances are I'd never get it anyways
