    Locale: Great Lakes Area

    I found out today that it's not going to work out for me to do the Ozark Highlands Trail this March because the first part of it isn't accessible yet due to construction:( Actually, I could still do it, but I wouldn't get to do the first 10 miles of it. Call me crazy, but I'd prefer not to do it until I can do the whole thing. Do you have any other suggestions for a 140-160 mile hike, either a loop or a shuttled one, in a non-snow area at that time?

    Locale: Cascades and Oregon Coast Range

    You could yo-yo the Foothills Trail. It's in South Carolina, with a short bit in North Carolina, and is about 76 miles long. Who knows, maybe that's never been done before- you could become a record holder.
