Probably not, guessing it depends on the pack itself.
Have used this system on two packs used three seasons over the past 3 years. Between the two they have seen the same amount of miles that would average any long distance thru hike in the US.
Packs used with this set up are original Jam, second being a MLD prophet both these packs show no wear or tear from water bottle stress on shoulder straps or daisy chain loops.
Actually got the idea of wearing bottles on shoulder pads from an AT thru hiker.
