I'm looking for a waterproof mitt shell (just a shell)for day hikes and longer treks. I'm considering the OR Endeavor and the Mount Laurel Designs eVENT Rain Mitts . Do you know if these are a good ones? If you know of another mitt, please let me know. I'm wanting to watch my budget, but I definitely want a mitt shell that's truly waterproof.

I don’t know how much they weigh but Ragged Mountain has a few shell mittens made in the good ‘ol USA.
They also have a Patagonia R1 Hoody style jacket and pullover.
Since I already own TWO sets of OR GTX mitt shells (long story) I won't be getting any more soon,
But…if'n I wuz I'd get the eVent shells any day, price no object (usually ian't where "GEAR" is concerned). Hee,hee
