I have the ability to get a great deal on the bibler winter bivy, decreasing its price to ~$50. It uses epic as the top layer fabric and weighs roughly 8 oz. Will the vapr bivies using quantum outperform the winter bivy in breathability and water resistance? Does anyone have experience with the winter bivy in summer conditions?

Thanks,

Jon

i had used one black diamond / bibler epic bivy and two pertex BMW bivies and in both cases they preform perfectly in summer conditions

Maybe i find that the bibler had better water resistance that the pertex one. (but there is NOT waterproff anyway)

In winter and cold conditions both bivies had a lot of "freezed condensation"

To be honest …. i have the pertex bivies because are lighter but the bibler is much cheaper and works perfectly
