I am looking for a UL synthetic insulated jacket that might come in a tall for an XL or a regular one that is really long in the body. Cheaper would be better also.

I bought a RAB Generator in December and was pleased to find it sized for tall people like me. I'm 6'2" / 41" chest / 33" waist / 34" arms and the Large fits me great. It's tall enough without being too wide. In fact the Generator is the first piece of commercial clothing I've ever found that actually has sleeve length to spare. The sleeves are 35" – 36" long!

My size Large pullover is 31" inches from the base of the back collar (C7 vertebra) to the hem. The front is 26". (It obviously has a drop tail.) The sleeves really are 36" long! The chest circumference is 48" at the armpits.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Unfortunately it would have to be about 30" in the front also to work.

I just measured an XL Montbell Thermwrap and the collar to hem is 29.5 inches.

The jacket runs slim also.
