I came across a Nike Feather Light Dri-Fit cap today. I've never been too fond of baseball style caps, but this is really good. It is made of polyester "Dri-Fit" cloth and has a polyester mesh sweat band. There is a Velcro adustment band in the back with a silicone tab on it and you make the adjustment with one hand. There are mesh vents in the crown and the underside of the bill is black. Weight is a staggering 1.9 ounces :)
I have an odd shaped head and need an XL size too. The crown of this hat is perfectly shaped and the range of adjustment is very good.
One place I do like wearing this style cap is when I need to use a hood on a rain coat for long periods of time. You can help cure a lousy hood design that way.
