I'm about to go for a 2 day trip in the french alps.
I've just bought a Coleman F1 UL. I was looking for the best canister to feed that stove.
I didn't find any comparaison article on BPL. Or maybe I miss it evenr on the forum.
I just read that the Primus 450g was a good weight ratio.
But… in the real what difference between MSR, Primus and Coleman canister.
The gas filling doesn't seem to be the same, and the empty canister weight too.
Can anyone help me to make my choice.

Look for the highest percentage of propane if you want it to work best in the cold. The remaining gas should be isobutane rather than normal butane (sometimes labeled n-butane) for the cold too.
I personally like the MSR canisters since their wider diameter makes the stove more stable (and find their gas mix works well to around 20 degrees F).
