Somehow there was a box from ProLite Gear sitting on my porch when I got home today! My wife must have ordered it for me as an early Christmas present!
I got tired of not knowing the concensus on the Ultra 20, so I got it.
Like others who have posted, I layed it out and thought… that's it? That's a 20 degree quilt? After letting it sit for an hour or so, I came back to it and it had actually lofted more than I thought it would. (I tried to measure with a ruler, but I just don't see how people get an accurate reading. It looked like it could have been 2.5" in some spots I guess.)
I might spend a couple hours outside in it tonight. It's only 30F right now but hopefully it'll drop soon.
Other thoughts… it is very wide! I am a toothpick, but it still seems nice and roomy – plenty to wear a high-loft jacket and still cinch the straps a ways. I got the size Long (I'm 6'2") and it's long enough to put the entire quilt over my head.
