I really really like the fabric that DriDucks are made out of, it just sucks that the seams are so weak (at least on some sets). I finally found a 'work around' for this. It involves sacrificing the pants to supply ~ 1 inch strips of fabric. This fabric is glued onto the outside of the neck and shoulder seams with Urethane bond or silcone (or any other flexible glue). SO FAR this patch has held up well. No more ripping or leaking at the seam.
Next I'm going to add a proper brim to the hood using more of the pants fabric, and probably include a flexible wire to help it hold it's shape. This is a mod I did to my Frogg Toggs ages ago and really pushes these rain jackets to near perfection for my uses.
