Wind resistant shell glove?

Look at the Outdoor Research Vert Gloves. Had mine for a few years, dang near indestructible. They have a Schoeller Dynamic outer with a super thin fleece like lining, the palms and fingers are a nice soft leather. They are meaty at 4oz for my size large.

Pretty wind resistant and fairly warm. I can wear them into the low 20's when moving. The factory water resistance of the leather has worn off so I need to re-DWR them. Good fit and great dexterity.

Check out the Patagonia Digitshell gloves. Pretty much meets all of your criteria. I don't own them personally but have toyed around with them at the Patagonia store. They're nice.

It looks like the Digitshell is out of the picture until fall, Patagonia's spring lineup just went up and most winter gear is absent from the site. I didn't find any smalls online either.

The Vert's look promising. I had skimmed over them since I didn't see an indication of the fabric on OR's site.

I agree with basicly everything Christopher said about the Vert Gloves. They fit very well, and they could take a thin liner. My recommendation for a liner would be something excactly like the smartwool glove liner, which is pretty much just a knitted glove that adds alot of loft and termal airspace, having tried them on at LL Bean. The defining feature of the Vert is that they are so lightly insulated I almost never notice my hands sweating unless I'm doing something that would really aggravate sweating, but it does detract from their conductive heat resistance. My friend and I occasionally go out on 15 to 10 degree nights and do some gymnastic ring workouts and the combination of light insulation and hard gripping chilling my hands really quickly before we decided to put some grip tape on the rings

There are two superlight shells that are waterproof/breathable (but not insulated).

They are both ultralight, not bomber, so it depends on your usage whether they are appropriate or not.
