I've looked through old posts, and I've seen a lot of questions about gloves and mitts, but I haven't seen anything that quite fits my needs.
I'm looking for something analogous to a stretch woven soft shell jacket. It should be unlined, resist wind (but not be windproof), and it should be breathable. The fit should be good so I still have dexterity while wearing them. So far, I have not found anything that works.
I plan on wearing them over thin merino liners. I think this gives more versatility, since I can wear liners, shells, or both depending on the circumstances (and I can add overmitts for weather below 20 degrees).
I tried a pair of Manzella Silkweight Windstopper gloves, but they weren't very breathable, so my hands sweated too much. Other gloves that I've looked at have insulation (so they'll be too warm), or have a similar windproof membrane (reduced breathability).
Is there anything out there like what I'm looking for?
