On a trip this past weekend I took my Prolite 4 to insulate me from some cold temps.

I made a nice duff bed of pine needle, but a small pine cone managed to poke its way through my GG polypro and Rainbow floor to puncture multiple tiny holes in the pad. It was like someone had taken a pin and poked it multiple times. Fortunately the duff bed kept me warm.

I am interested in learning different techniques to patch multiple puncture "wounds" on my Prolite 4.

Thermarest do a field-usable patch kit consisting of some boil-in-the-bag glue and some nylon patches. It works well.

I was seriously annyoed when I dropped something at home onto my thermarest and punctured it. The repair kit stopped me swearing.

If you think your Prolite might end up looking like it has measles then retirement might be in order.
