I made it clear to January 16 before buying any gear! I was hoping for March or April.
The Reeds are $55.95. I don't know which year's model they are. Prolite seems to have a lot of Golite stuff on sale.
Now I have about 5 days to rehearse my "What? That old thing?" line to explain their existence. At least they're black and might not even be noticed.

Are you sure the price went up? Perhaps you're looking at the sale price for the men's version rather than the sale price (lower) for the women's version? Just checked and the women's version is still $55 plus some change.

It looks like the women's are $4 less, but both are still on sale – $55.99 and $59.99. No men's mediums.
