Go! Towel

The blue shop towels are cheap enough (~5 cents/towel) to be used as a towel AND toilet paper (Gotta Go! towels?). Let's see you do that with those. ; )

Strangely enough, I have used these. Perhaps not the same brand though. I had dinner at a restaurant in the islands of greece and they served a bowl of hot water and a pile of "round mints"…I thought they were the coolest things but forgot about them until now. I think they would be a clear winner (depending on weight) and I guess I should state that they are not re-usable…or at least designed to be disposable. One could argue that the prepackaged wipes are of similar use.

Edit: on second look yours may be a little different since you state they are reusable.

Perhaps based on price, but these things were MUCH softer than those blue towels. They felt very nice.

Why do you need toilet paper, John???

A bidet won't fit in my zpack.

Walmart sells biodegradable coin towels similar to those that weigh in a .01oz each. I use them for toilet paper and other uses. the cost 1.00 for a pack of 6 or 8. I went and bought a ton of them to hang on to.

Have to agree with Ben actually… when you're in the woods… everything around you is potential "toilet paper"!!! The whole place is MADE of "toilet paper". LOL. I still carry some… but just for emergencies. I almost never use it.

Thanks for the link. That does look interesting. I've used this towel: http://www.ultralighttowels.com/. It comes in handy for wiping down a tent (in case I'm in a hurry). I carry two; the first I initially use and re-use (wringing out every time) until I can't wring anymore; the second I use after that (to get my tent bone dry). That approach also works for after swimming.
