We used the Oware Pyramid tarp in the Sierra's this past weekend. We were at 9000 ft and gusts
of wind up to 20 mph. The pyramid tarp was great. We set it up as a kitchen to provide shelter
from the wind and snow. We first prepared the snow as you would for a quarry and then quarried
out the foot well and placed the blocks around the parameter for a wall and backrest. The tarp
was then set on the short wall. This is faster and easier than digging out the seating surface
and foot well. This setp easily accommodated 6 people in the group with room to spare. It was
extremely stable in the gusting winds. True luxury!
