I just bought a pair of Kayland MXT’s for light mountaineering purposes. I have to say I’m really impressed with them. They’re light (about 1.5 oz heavier that Trango Evo’s per boot) and have a really great fit. My only concern is that the outer material is made of suede and since I have a low volume foot it may stretch to where I can’t adjust them. Time will tell I suppose.

Anybody else have any experience with Kayland boots/shoes? I’m surprised they aren’t more popular. Not much info out there yet. I’ve seen the reviews for the contact 1000’s on BGT. I’m just wondering if there are other users out there and what they think about them.

Oh and if you have any questions regarding the MXT’s I am more than willing to tell you what I know.

Cheers
