Does anyone have any experience with either the Vargo Jet-ti or Brunton Raptor, good or bad?

George,
Several years ago I purchased a Markkill stove marketed as a lightweight titatnium model which looks almost identical to the Vargo except for the fold out arms. The Markill was manufactured by Vaude. Although I have assumed it was the same stove, this assumption is based on appearances only.
This Markill stove, if it bears any functional similarities beyond appearances to the Vargo, did not work well with just any canister. I used it with Primus canisters and the valve needle did not penetrate deep enough to receive an adequate flow of fuel and concluded that it was inferior to the Primus stove. I never used after that one trip.
