I have no idea why David thinks that I am in the market for a shelter. I already have one.
But since he brought it up, just before the end of 2007 ( a black year for my usually very restrained habits) I purchased a pair of ID mini gaiters, mostly because I did not know that anything at all was made in Canada so I just wanted some of it. Us Aussies think of Canada as the country that makes us look good at the Commonwealth Games.

i think we need to start a new section where we can each post a FULL list of ALL the gear we own – it would provide an amusing contrast to the usual super ultralite 3 season trip lists!

(my particular weakness is bivy bags – I have 6 of them, i think…)

by the way i am awaiting a delivery from BPL as well as a pair of Keen Blackcombs….

thankfully S&C has been running out before I can make a decision to buy…

However, my BPL annual sale package should show up today…
