The Marmot Atom is still available for $175.00. If you go to http://sac.gearattack.com/items you can look through what has been listed on SAC and items that are still available can be bought through the link at backcountryoutlet.com

Quite unexpectedly, though. My friend picked it up for me just in case I wanted it. Will keep for now (with tags)…I'm interested in Golite's new quilt due out in the spring.

Happy New Year!

For the Golite quilt, try backcountry.com , I ordered mine last weak, however the sales guy told me that I got the last one. I'm pumped to try it. It comes on Thursday along with my Jam 2 pack. I'll have to go on a little winter adventure to try it out. I'll start a thread when it comes and give you my initial impressions.

Yeah, Actually I originally ordered the quilt online at backcountrygear.com. Then I received an email stating that the item was on backorder until mid january, so I cancelled my orded. Then I found the quilt at backcountry.com, called them and got the last one. Oh, yeah and the weight on backcountrygear.com is listed at 29 ounces which is a mistake. The real weight is 19 oz for the regular and I believe that it was confirmed by ryan jordan, or one of the bpl guys.

Just received my ultra from backcountry.com last night. It is the 19 oz as listed. Actually 18 3/4 but who's counting. It lofts up real nice. My very imprecise measurement was 3 1/2".
The straps can tie tight around my sleeping pad while allowing the quilt to snug in around me. I can't wait to use it in the field.

I’d love to buy one, but it seems to be only available in the Short length :(
If anyone needs one in the smaller size use the coupon code 2BY-1-CTLR6 to get 20% off at backcountry.com! (originally posted by Justin Ling)
Thanks for saving me some time and hassle by pointing out that backcountrygear.com is out of stock of Ultra’s.

I googled the golite quilt and they're available at americaskiing.com and explore64.com. Don't know much about those sites or their exchange policies, but if you need one right away, they're there.

Will probably order one from REI next week. They should be able to special order it and it would then fall under their return policy.

Does anyone know if Skurka did any sort of review on the quilt? I believe he would be the only one at this point that could provide solid information on how it performs.

I only listened to about half of the GWL podcasts, so not sure if he did a review there or not.

Thanks!
