I'm in the process of lightening up our gear a little more. I always carry a tarp. I know, extra weight, but on rainy days we usually end up with other people under the tarp. Since I carry the tarp and always go with my wife I'm thinking of the oware double dixon bivy. Does anyone have any experience with it? I could chip weight on
our pads (exped downmat 7) but I'm 60 and my wife is 56 so that ain't about to happen.
