OK, I'm officially confused. Because of the new Go Lite shelters, I have resurrected my BD Lighthouse to celebrate the fact that it is raining in Melbourne. Since I have put the tent up, about 24 hours ago, we have had about 2" of rain, most in short violent bursts but also under a prolonged drizzle.
In the Go Lite thread I reported having some small puddles inside and drops on the poles, after one of the "better" outburst. After that I wiped up the floor and this morning , following a night of more showers, all I had were a few drops on the floor. Does this mean that the "wetting out" occurs only under pressure and that the fabric recovers after that ?
Right now it has stopped raining, the top is covered with water beads and the fabric feels dry.
