Stumbled across this in another forum. Rather interesting.

The seal on this gasket "is so perfect that an audible whoosh can be heard when the cap is screwed back on the lighter after use"
And for that reason alone must be worth the difference.
I would pay another $10 for a whoosh click version.
FrancoDec 23, 2007 at 7:16 am #1413545County Comm and EDC Depot both sell the peanut lighters. You can walk into any auto parts store or refrigeration supply and buy high quality o-rings for pennies all day long.
Now, as to the performance of the lighters. They have no wind protection at all and you get a little orange flame– not too impressive (I have one). I would dump a mini Bic in an aloksak and add some tinder.
