I’m planning a trip to southern Colorado in a few weeks. I’ve got 6 days to be there, and am wondering about some spots. My style is backpacking w/ some non-technical scrambling and hiking to connect trails via off trail routes. Any thoughts on the relative virtues of the Weminuche vs. South San Juan Wilderness? Spent a week in the Weminuche a couple years ago and loved it, but also love to get
away from crowds.
