What would you all do?

If inside it could just be sloppy sewing style. Post a photo?

I can post a photo later tonight, but work doesn't afford me the opportunity.

The cut stitches are on the outside though. The inside looks fine.

Call Patagonia and tell them. They should replace it fast.

Me, I would take it to my sewing machine … less effort than traipsing back to the shop.

So I tried to take a picture of the threads, but they just aren't showing up. Small black threads, on a black fleece..my camera can't get them to show up clearly.

It really doesn't seem to affect anything, but since I know nothing about sewing I can't really know if the integrity is compromised. I guess my safe bet is taking it back to the store, but it's such a pain!

Sarah: The stitches may just be loose ends that are coming up. When you said how it may just be sloppy sewing I looked closer and realized maybe they aren't cut at all. I assume someone cut the threads so they were sticking up, but maybe it's just loose ends that are poking out?,,

That was my first thought, but alas, it can't be done by me..

I think I would carefully pull on the affected area from different directions to put a little (not too much) stress on it. If it holds, I would just forget about it. If more stitches pop loose, I would probably take it back.

I think i have a similar thing going on around the cuff area of my r1 hoody. The whole cuff assembly seems to be sewn in an odd manner, especially on the inside of the wrist where all the pieces come together. The rest of the garment seems to have great stitching so im not sure why this one area seems to have problems.

I had some of my stitching fall apart at the bottom waist section. I plan to return it for a new r1. 130 bucks and I'm not going to deal with bad stitching.

Update: I went to patagonia and they gladly replaced my R1 hoody with a brand new one.
