I am interested in hearing from anyone who has thru hiked or section hiked the GET. I'm in farming, so my off season is the winter. I live in the desert, and this trail wanders thru some of the coolest deserts of the US. I'm probably looking to just do 14-20 days of hiking. I would love to hear some details from folks who have actually hiked on it. I'm also open to hearing from folks who might want to partner up if that worked out. My timeline would be March 2016 The online guide to the trail is really good, but nothing like first hand beta!
