Asking for advice on a women's new down hoodie. I've dropped over 60 pounds in two years so now I need a down hoodie that fits….yea! What's your favorite?

My "really warm" favourite is the Feathered Friends Elias Jacket — but I just went to the website, and they're not making women's down jackets any more (why, FF?, why???). You might be able to find one used (maybe eBay?). The MH Ghost Whisperer is a good "all-around" choice. It fits well, is very lightweight, and is warm for the weight (it was enough for the CT). I wasn't impressed with the Montbell women's jackets (I sold mine). Apparently their women's line is more focused on "looks" than performance, and I could see gaps in the down fill when I held it up to the light. I'm told this is not the case with their men's stuff, but I don't think the men's line will have the fit you're looking for. The Uniqlo jackets are good for a budget option, but the fit isn't as nice as the MH GW.
